Every curve, a thrill
The roadster Bimota is a devourer of asphalt and every curve becomes an emotion. It comes from the sportier DB8 but has been made to be quicker. A motorcycle with a sporty character, a pure roadster created for those who want an excellent bike on any type of road. The two-cylinder engine of 1,200 cc is fast and full-bodied at the low and mid-range where torque delivery is linear and ready.
It’s a true roadster, the taut lines and the small fairing pronounced forward give to this bike a particularly aggressive look. Colors in the tradition of Bimota, where the white / tricolor and white / red versions, go to contrast with the black carbon with which was made the fairing. A motorcycle where elegance and grit travel together; a look enhanced by the quality of the billet plates, deliberately left exposed.
DB9 Brivido is powered by a twin-cylindric “L” engine of 1.200 cc, capable of providing a power of 162 hp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque of 128 Nm at 8,000 rpm. An engine equipped with multi-plate clutch in oil bath, designed for being used more on road than the one mounted on the sporty sister DB8.
In front is mounted an upside down 43 mm Öhlins fork, while the rear uses an Öhlins monoshock. Both systems are fully adjustable for preload, in rebound and compression.
The Brembo braking system consists of two 320 mm discs with radial calipers with 4 separate pads, and a 220 mm disc with two-piston caliper. In the “S” version the front brake system is equipped with single-disc peripheral system, developed by the Experience Department of Bimota, with incredible effectiveness. The rims are OZ, in forged aluminum, a material that helps keep the overall weight by 177 Kg.
